UNK EKO FTAC VG $57 This guitar has always been a puzzle to me; we don't see 'em very often, and I've never seen one in a Sears catalog, so it's hard to pin it down. Wouldn't you know it, THIS one has a glop of glue obscuring the model stamp. Anyway, it's got a 'Made In Italy' decal, and a real Silvertone logo (although a slightly different typeface than any other), and I've seen a few of these, so it's not a fake, but it IS a mystery. This one was in pretty good shape, and went for a steal at $57.

It's a great time for buying a 1481, it seems... this model was my first Silvertone amp purchase some 25 years ago, and always a favorite. Mine is still crankin' along with the original tubes and speaker; breaks up nicely at about 8 with my 1457 running into it. I've seen a bunch of very clean examples of this amp going for some bargain prices.  Wrap a bow around one and give one for the holidays!
