Howlin' Wolf, the stage name of Chester Arthur Burnett, was one of the greatest bluesmen of all time. He was often seen, along with his longtime guitarist, Hubert Sumlin (who played signature riffs on classics like "Smokestack Lightning" and "Killing Floor") in publicity shots from the 50s and 60s holding the Kay "Thin Twin," and less frequently some assorted Silvertone guitars as well. There are also lots of 60s-era filmed performances of Wolf and Hubert playing when a Silvertone (a 1484 or 5, from the front, they're identical) amplifier can be seen behind the band.
