of the series, details his beginnings with the great Sam Phillips at Sun
Studios in Memphis. Of course, the Wolf took it a lot further than the confines of 706 Union Avenue in Memphis, and Chicago was the home base. This album, Howlin' Wolf: His Best (Chess 50th Anniversary Collection)
, is a fine detail on his more popular 'hits'
