The Kay-built 670

and 672
guitars were only slightly different from their predecessors, the 680 and 682.  The 'cheese wedge' fretboard markers stayed on, but various minor features (bridge, headstock laminate, etc) changed, and we've tried to detail them all in the photo galleries. The mahogany shaded 670 was the best seller of the two, and the seldom-seen 672 is quite rare.

Introduced: 1950

Retired: 1953

The 670/672
continued the 'Aristocrat' line into the 1950s, listed as 'Our Best,' and varying little from the late 40s-avalable 680/682 models.

Where does the 'Aristocrat' nickname come from?

Ya got me!
