The Kay-built 619
and its family was a very popular archtop guitar, available in one way or another for nearly a decade. Sears sold a bunch, and it pretty much ruled the roost of f-hole acoustics. The Kentucky Blue and the black with a pinstripe 658 shared some catalog time, but the 619 family was the top seller, and still widely available on the market today.

Introduced as the 627/630 Fall/Winter 1959

Retired as the 619
Spring/Summer 1968

The 619 family consisted of the initial 627/630 guitars, then became the 619/618 offering, then just the 619. The 619 sold the most and was available the longest, and was spec'd out over that time with several odd little design variations; probably more so than any other Silvertone guitar.
