The 1457 guitar setup, epitomized the Silvertone mindset: the best that
just a little money could buy. A great neck, a cool look, and a sound that
artists continue to find irresistible.
From fantasies of yesterday ('That Thing You Do!'), to an active collector's
market, right on to today's concert stages, the 1457 still rocks.

The 1457 guitar was, in its relatively short
lifetime, a HUGE seller. Think of how many we see on the collector's market
today from just a two-year window of availability. There are more 1448s out
there, but they were cheaper, and also available a couple of years longer. The
1457 is a great guitar - with the
full smash of Nathan Daniel features: two 'lipstick' pickups, the elegant Dano-designed
bridge, concentric stacked knobs, p/u
selector switch, neck tilt adjustment, that cool red sparkle burst paint job, and
a great feel and balance to a very lightweight guitar.
