The 1407 was a Japanese-made clone (sorta) of the
famous Fender Telecaster™. Teisco-made (maybe Univox), it differed from the more
popular (judging by the availability on the auction market) 1413 in that it was a single pickup model, and maybe the ivory color
just wasn't 'flashy' enough to make it as popular a guitar.
