These two models
were the humble beginnings of the long-lasting, market flooding
Dano 'peanut' shaped body series. All of Nathaniel Daniels' genius save for the
lipstick tube pickup was there, and those bright, shiny electrical wonders were
soon to follow.

is pretty short on bridge/pickup and knob details.
The 1375 and 1377 models were the first in a
long line of Danelectro-made Silvertones with a similar body shape. These models weren't
quite there yet, though; still refining the body shape and headstock, as
well as the pickup configuration - no lipstick tubes... yet. A long bump in the pickguard lets you
know something was picking up the signal...
These babies are pretty rare; especially the 1377.
