The 1305 is
a fairly rarely- seen machine. With a relatively high price, it didn't sell as
many as the one and two pickup Dano-built Silvertones of the same vintage. The
short lifespan of the guitar also limited how many of these made it into the
hands of players.

The 1305 model was a hint of things to come - it was
the first in a long line to come of three pickup guitars. What? The first?
Yup, Sears had never offered a guitar with more than two pickups until the 1305
came along. After that, Harmony, Kay and (later) Japan would jump in the boat,
but, as was true in many an instance, a Dano-built Silvertone was the first.
