The 1463 was a
no-frills bass amp, part of the all-too-brief Danelectro Solid State family - the last of
the (official... *ahem*) Dano-made Silvertone amps.
Volume, bass and treble controls on two inputs. 35 watts of clean, solid-state power
into one big 15" speaker. That speaker was in a BIG honkin' cabinet: it
measured 20 inches wide, 9 inches deep, and if you stacked the amp on top of the
cab for that cool Stonehenge look, it was almost four feet tall!
